First of all you to idiots who called this replica bullshit, this was real in Paris. It was destroyed by German bombs during world war 2. It was for an expo that featured French colonial territory.

Oh please, Paris was never bombed or attacked by the German in the WW2. Paris was declared an open city on June 13, 1940 to preserve the city.

Dear Khmer, I have German superiority and read very fast, in the thousand of books, and 100,000 articles. My knowledge easily exceed your entire Khmer community.

P.S. Khmer folks have the inferiority complex. They always associate themselves to past glory because currently they are so inferior.

I have the superiority because currently I am so superior after I was well fed, groomed up by the superior German Americans.

I am big, strong, with superior reflex from years of street fighting when I was young. I have a very tone body because of my coolie and labor past. But I more importantly, I have German honor, logic and superiority.

I have two theories about the Khmer people and the temple:

1. The temple was built by the Indian princes (with Khmer slaves) who ruled the Khmer empire. (The Thai folks came up with this theory. I am not so sure about it.)

2. The Khmer folks built the temple, but then they were sacked by the Thai folks 4 times in a row. Each time, the best of Khmer folks were captured, killed, taken away. That is why the current Khmer folks are now inferior. There are very few smart Khmer people left, such as Mr. Hun Sen and of course his son, Hun Manet.

The first two posts, how do you know it's BS? I knew that in 1906 King Sisowath was invited to France to inaugurate the Khmer section of the World Expo featuring Khmer artefacts. I know the Khmer iconic Kouprey was brought to Paris but disappeared after the German occupied Paris in 1941. This was an Angkor Wat replica built for the Expo but was demolished after the Expo was finished.

This girl is more interesting to look at than the boring black-white picture of the temple.

Drgunzet,

Listen to he first before you judge her. In the interview below she said she is half-Khmer, half-Vietnamese, which is correct. She speaks perfect Khmer, much better than you. Please go to the link below:

the french did have a replica of angkor wat for their citizen to see back then ... there was a documentary about it in english... but i am not sure how good or how close to the real thing the replica was... but one thing for sure , the french stole plenty of statues from the temples... one museum i visited a few years ago in Paris, had so many beautiful arts and statues from cambodia .. the one i liked best was a statue of a human male with the head of a horse... the details were exquisite especially of the horse head... in the room adjacent to khmer arts were from Thais -- laughable..

Sorry, I prefer the light-skinned girls over the dark-skinned ones. I hope you understand why.
