I was just wondering when the king alive what's language did he speaks in husband household? France maybe? I rarely seen him write anything in Khmer language at all.I've seen a lots of France in which I didn't understand,its would be nice if communicate in khmer's language so all khmers can understand his emotion behind the messages.

Well, Yobal Khmer I don’t know how old you are now but never mind, just forget it. I’m pleased to tell you, Ex-King Norodom Sihanouk had used three languages fluently such as Khmer, French and English language, his wife Queen Monineath using two languages fluently Khmer and French language, his parents King Norodom Suramarit and Queen Sisowath Kossamak had used Khmer and French language fluently but King Norodom Sihamoni is more ambitious, he speaks four languages fluently alone in the family and possibly more than four but I assert that only four languages such as Khmer, French, English and Czech language.
Sihanouk can speak 8 languages fluently. He can speak Khmer, French, English, Spanish, Russian, German, Chinese ans so on....
Of course he speaks Khmer at home with his wife and children, but he will use French in official writing. He can write french better than most of the French people. He has a talent in languages.
He will speaks one of the 8 languages when he met the officials from those countries.
Ex-King Sihanouk was very well educated and he was way much better than dumb Hun Sen (low class educated with 5th grade).
Sadly, ex-king Sihanouk was so blind and stupid to go crazy about Yuon/Vietnamese females so that he went too far to have parties and did playboy stuff until the country of Cambodia was in danger.
Responding to all the above. What if I told you that I speak three Langauges fluently would you all believe me? I speak Siam Khmer and english.It doesn't prove anything just prove that I got a chance to learn from school that it.You don't need many langauges to be a leader,what you need to be a leader is patriotism do the best of your ability to protect,preserve,defend against all enemies domestic or import.S/he needs to speaks khmer's langauges in the communication in writing or speaking,the most important thing is to speak the langauges that not allow Yuon to annex khmer's land like 7:42PM posted above.No needs that many langauges and stop communicate in your own original mother tongue [Khmer] choose other national to be your body guard to protect you.Oh,the way I am young born during the B52 bombardment of Sihanuk back by Yiekcong.Sihanuk born with silver spoon in the mouth and golden toilet's seat under his butt,its not suprise to anyone if he knew that many langauges and forgotten to communicate in his Khmer langauge.Everyone of us in here if giving a chance we can learn that many langauges just like him.

That language is : Stop Yuon from annexing
