Vietnamese leaders paid tribute to King Father Norodom Sihanouk in a
condolence message Monday after the former king died in Beijing, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
"Vietnam
has lost a great friend who had maintained a close ties and given
valuable support, fraternal sentiment to the Vietnamese people in the
struggle for national independence in the past as well as in the current
development of each nation," the message read.
"The
Vietnamese Party, State, National Assembly, Government and people will
forever be grateful to the valuable support and determined to exert
every effort to continue building the fine neighborliness, long-lasting
traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation which have long
been nurtured by generations of the two countries’ leaders and people."
The
report said the message was sent by Virtnam Communist Party
General-Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime
Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung
to King Norodom Sihamoni, Senate President Chea Sim, National Assembly
President Heng Samrin and Prime Minister Hun Sen.
The
report said Vietnamese Defense Minister Phung Quang Thanh and Foreign
Minister Pham Binh Minh also conveyed their condolences to Cambodian
Defense Minister Tea Banh and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong.

Please don't talk nonsense. You don't know what you are talking about. Stop being manipulated by other Anonymous mentioned. You need to be quiet and let's focus on Unity. We want CNRP and CPP to reunite as one without fight each others in order to change the leaders. We wish all Khmer/Cambodian citizens or members of major parties CNRP and CPP to merge after the merger of SRP and HRP including other small parties like Khmer Democratic, KPPM, etc.
So, stop fighting each others. We need to work together to save our Khmer nation.
It is timing. Khmer folks both at home and abroad (USA, Australia, NZ, France, Canada, S. Korea, Japan, and so on), please stop fighting each others and please take the positive outlooks and stop hating other because of the Vietnamese/Yuon manipulation and don't let our neighbors Yuon/Viet and Siam/Thai to see our weakness.
So, watch out on each others no matter what happen. Please think and be careful.
