PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao paid their final respects to the late King Father Wednesday before the body was flown to Phnom Penh, the China Daily reported.

In addition to President Hu and Premier Wen, the newspaper said the ceremony was also attended by State Councilors Ma Kai, Meng Jianzhu and Dai Bingguo.

"Hu presented a wreath at the ceremony, as well as observed a moment of silence and bowed three times in front of Sihanouk's body, upon arriving at the hospital."

The newspaper said former president Jiang Zemin also laid a wreath along with Politburo Standing Committee members Wu Bangguo, Wen Jiabao, Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang.

Other wreathes were given by "several former Chinese leaders" as well as the CPC Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the State Council, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the Central Military Commission.

The report added that Chinese flags were flown at half-mast Wednesday at Xinhuamen, the main entrance of the headquarters of the CPC central committee and government.

Chinese flag flying at half-mast in front of Tianenmen square in Pekin in order to pay respect for Cambodian ex-King. This is a strong message to Cambodian people. It’s rare to see such a different country to low her national flag to pay respect of another nation, very touching.

It's nice to see the Chinese leaders stick to their friends no matter what. Sihanouk was a good friend of China and the Chinese leaders. The Chinese leaders have come in drove to pay respect to his soul. Great to see China treats its much smaller friend with deep respect.

That's why America lost war in Vietnam. The proudest of the white who ruled the US got the US nowhere.
Let other race rule the US, not the White (European).
