Phoung Malai was being helped by one of his subordinates after being injured on the head during one of the riots in Phnom Penh.
PHNOM PENH, 2 August 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Phnom Penh Deputy Police Commissioner Phoung Malai dismissed Thursday a newspaper report that he had insulted a woman who reportedly suffered a miscarriage during a clash with police.
On Wednesday, the Khmer-language edition of the Phnom Penh Post quoted Phoung Malai as asking "was the victim woman young or old? Does she want to sue me to get her baby back. If she wants her baby back, I'm still young."
In rejecting the report, Phoung Malai said he was "not so silly to use such language," he said.
The woman, who identified herself as Bov Srey Sros, meanwhile held a news conference Thursday to complain that she'd been insulted by the commissioner. She urged First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen to help reduce violence against women.
It was not immediately clear why the woman attended the protest while pregnant.

Ah jongrai Phuong Malai is lying! Look at the link in the Phenom penh post the day that riot was,you look closely you see the police uniform was different colors from the one he worn in this page.This is fabrication of evidences folks! Prosecute Ah jongrai Phuong Malai now.

If you look at background you will see it very clear that this is a fabrication without a doubt.Facts; look at background of people behind him,the location,the uniform,there were no riot only seen one police with the red paint on his face and on his helper's hand, and one by standard at a far left corner frame of the picture,where were the riot people that caused him to injured his face?

On this page and click on the link.Look at the tree/ police uniform colors, behind them, and look at the bloody 's face police uniform.Did you see any differences??? He is the most rude and uneducated police chief. How can a police chief say like that to a lady? In the West, he will be fined and fired from his job or may be jailed for killing an unborn baby.
